The Grē Matter story

Grē Matter was founded by Tynelle Taylor-Chase, PhD, who spent over a decade inside Fortune 500 companies designing people systems, leadership development programs, and cultures supporting ambitious business goals.

Across industries, the same pattern kept repeating. Companies talked about growth, innovation, and leadership but lacked the systems and support structures to actually operate at that level. At the same time, many leaders were hiring talented, capable people but weren’t fully prepared to integrate them in ways that allowed them to apply their expertise and make transformative improvements. The result was always the same: bottlenecks, burnout, and stalled momentum despite having “great people” on the team—ultimately turning those “great people” into disengaged shells of their former selves.

After leaving corporate America, Tynelle began advising growing businesses on hiring, culture, and performance—a practice that remains core to Grē Matter today. That work revealed a deeper opportunity: leaders didn’t just need better tools or stronger talent. They needed operating partners they could trust, who could also lead in ways that unlocked the full value of their teams and businesses.

Grē Matter evolved to meet that need by intentionally developing its own talent through innovative hiring, training, and development principles, while also supporting clients in becoming more effective leaders. The result has been true operating partnership—stronger execution, healthier cultures, and businesses that can scale with clarity and confidence.
